“Eating is an Agricultural Act”
Wendell Berry

American novelist, poet,
environmental activist, cultural critic, and farmer.

 fight to save our water!

The dinner is a celebration of what we have done and what we can do.
Your dinner will be gourmet, delicious and of course because it's about the water, plant-based.  Dinner includes wine parings and local micro-brewed beers and will be comprised of a variety of entrees served tapas style.
The decisions we make everyday of what we put on our plate shapes our future.  What we choose determines what the farmer grows and how he grows it.  Which in the end determines the quantity and quality of our shared water resource.

We have the power to change the world.

"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not" - Dr. Suess, The Lorax
We are pleased to again this year have entrees prepared by Chef Sage-Louise of the Cheese Factory Restuarant in the Wisconsin Dells.  The restaurant offers freshly prepared vegan and non-GMO dishes from their own recipes and cakes, pies and cookies from their in-house bakery.  All food is prepared fresh daily from locally-grown organic produce, when it is available.
 Truly our favorite restaurant.

Chef Sage-Louise was born in France and raised in Montreal, and her cooking has a distinctly international flair with an emphasis on Southwestern, Asian, and American flavors.  Her simple yet sophisticated dishes are a testament to her apprenticeship with Master Chef Filipe Rojas-Lombarde, a protege of the late James Beard, and to the many years that she spent working at venerable New York City institutions, such as Dean and Duluca.
